The primary objective of installing a fence is to create a conspicuous border of your property in isolation with what can be found outside its boundaries. But this is not always the goal of home owners who install fences. Oftentimes, aesthetics is the concept in mind when people take time to dig the ground and fix fences in their lawn or garden.

You may be a little confused to what sets a fence and a wall apart. The answer to this would be that, a fence is more lightweight than a wall. Usually, a fence is made out of wooden material such as bamboo while a wall is created out of concrete. Thus, if safety is more of the objective than just merely creating a border or beautifying your lawn, a wall is a better choice.

Boxed gardens also put a good use to wooden fences. Small patches of land can be surrounded with wooden fences and filled with plants and flowers. Fences can also be used to create an isolated play area for your children. This goes best with the installation of a sandbox or a playground containing swings and slides.

In installing wooden fences, make sure that it has been properly sanded so that it cannot prick people touching the fence. Also, you should apply non-toxic paint to your fences to avoid posing harm to your health and your family as well.
